Chris Williams
one of the all-time Sunshine Tour Legends, has won nine times on this tour and has sixteen professional wins internationally. He joined the Sunshine Tour in 1985, and won his first title, the South African PGA Championship, during his first season. He consistently won between then and 2003, such as the Lexington PGA Championship, (which gave him entry to the World Series in Akron, Ohio, the “fifth Major”) and the 2002 Telkom PGA Championship, as well as the Volvo Masters of Malaysia and the FedEx PGA Championship in Asia. Chris joined the European Senior Tour on turning 50 and won for the first time as a senior in March 2011 at the Aberdeen Brunei Senior Masters. He finished a close second on the Staysure Senior Order of Merit in 2017. Chris resides in Johannesburg, South Africa.
