Lalitha v. Flemming, co-initiator of PLeace Awaken, spent more than a decade in California and Japan, working in the entertainment industry, where she founded and ran two production companies for video games and music and did pioneer work in her industry.
At the same time, she acquired her official license as a holistic animal practitioner and volunteered in a woman shelter and suicide hotline. Back in Europe she founded three companies, working as a personal coach, as well as with renewable energies, environmental technologies and new alternative medical treatments.
Through her prominent family and diverse career, Lalitha’s personal contacts and friendships encompass heads of conglomerates, political leaders, sports legends, musicians as well as Hollywood producers and entertainers. Having been active in human and animal rights as well as environmental protection and political causes all her life, Lalitha, along with Steve Jacobs, came up with the concept of PLeace Awaken in 2015 after rounding up friends, family and colleagues to take a stand against a controversial political uprising in Germany and help Syrian refugees stuck at the German/Austrian border.
