Oliver Bekker

is a South African golfer. He plays on the Korn Ferry Tour, the Challenge Tour and on the Sunshine Tour where he has won seven times: the Northern Cape Classic in 2011, the Dimension Data Pro-Am in 2012, the Telkom PGA Pro-Am in 2013, the Sun City Challenge in 2016, and in 2017 the Zambia Sugar Open, the Lombard Insurance Classic and the Sun Wild Coast Sun Challenge. At the Sunshine Tour and Golf RSA awards ceremony Oliver won five awards, the Commissioner’s Award for his overall contribution to golf on the Tour, the Players’ Player of the Year award and the Media Player of the Year award. He also won the Gary Player Trophy for the best stroke average of players who played in 60 percent or more of the Sunshine tournaments during the season, averaging 70.21 over 71 rounds of tournament golf and for his feats on the par-fives during the season, averaging 1.97 under par throughout his 24 tournaments.
