Kahn Morbee is the lead vocalist/guitarist of South Africa's Indie rock band The Parlotones. Formed by Kahn in 1998, The Parlotones have attained a global following, headlined the 20,000-seater Coca Cola Dome, and played in the historic 2010 FIFA World Cup Kick-off Concert to an audience of a billion. Performing thousands of shows in countries around the world and having played live to over 2 million people, they have performed at many European and American music festivals with such acts as the Kings of Leon, Imagine Dragons and The Cure. The band has also received multiple South African Music Award’s. Kahn is also performing as a solo artist, creating his debut album SALT in 2014, which earned him his first SAMA. The first single from his second album, We Could Be Divine, featuring Karen Zoid, debuted at #1 on the iTunes download played regularly on all major South African radio charts. He was also a coach on The Voice South Africa, his team winning the first two seasons. Kahn is very active in several charity initiatives and lives with his wife in Johannesburg.
